A Place of Peace
Installation artist Carson Fox works alone in her studio on a commissioned piece, finding meaning in the consistency of her work. As she lulls herself into comfort through repetition, cracks in her sense of control slowly emerge. The incessant hum of the room acts as both a calming force and a reminder of the tedium of the process. She finds strength in her ability to continue through the monotony. It is her vocation, but she must devote all of her attention to each task to remain passionate.
