A group of actors reenact and reinterpret real interviews about the first thing each subject loved. Despite having radically different objects of affection and details to share about their experiences, they all engaged in similar strategies of forming a narrative about what the experience meant to them. Through performance, the actors are unable to reveal emotional truths that the original participants wouldn’t acknowledge.
