In Production

In a bucolic American town, nature watches ambivalently as an unnamed man stands over his victim. He goes through the mundane tasks necessary to cover up his crime, and with each step loses connection with the natural world. Told in just 44 shots with no on-screen dialogue, Heavy is an examination of the dehumanization that takes place when someone numbs themselves into justifying evil actions, and the habitual rationalization that allows society to continue down a path of malevolence in the name of self-preservation.
