An expressionistic diary film culled from personal videos taken exclusively in the year 2020, edited with 4 years of distance to examine how the crisis reoriented my sense of world. The most mundane sights at the beginning of the year became vital memories of a more innocent time; the smallest gestures and plays of light carried wellsprings of meaning once isolation began. The initial obliviousness turned to confusion, the subsequent fear lead to a realignment of the things we hold dear, and eventually, we found solace in the new normal.
